Inspiring Gardens

We love visiting gardens! There is so much to inspire.  Take a look at some of the places we've been.

Levens Hall & Gardens

Among the ten acres of gardens you’ll find the worlds oldest topiary gardens. Today Levens Hall gardener’s were hard at work maintaining the magnificent abstract and geometric shapes of the ancient Box and Yew trees.

Continue through the gardens and you’ll find extensive herbaceous borders, an ancient orchard; herb, fountain and rose gardens, where the work continues year round. Gardens both large and small require care and attention to maintain throughout the seasons. As we move into Autumn and winter, work begins on splitting plants and planting bulbs for the seasons ahead. Don’t be fooled by the common misconception of your garden being put to bed for the winter.

Gresgarth Hall & Gardens

The Gardens of Gresgarth Hall, developed & designed by Arabella Lennox-Boyd.

We Visited Gresgarth at the beginning of October and the gardens were still bursting with colour!
